Black Fathers Bring Civility Back to a School

Given all that's happening on university campuses, we need some positive news about education. Here is a beautiful story about a group of men called "Dads on Duty." They are fathers of teenagers, and their children's high school was experiencing daily fights, multiple arrests, and more. These men decided to act - not by being "guards" or "enforcers," but rather by walking the hallways and being the "cool uncle."

Fights and arrests went to zero almost immediately. Their secret? They listened to the students - any student, not just their children, to understand what the problems were and address them with love and understanding. Beautiful!
