I am excited to announce the publication of my first book, “The Civil Society Playbook: A Common Sense Plan for a Return to Civility.”

I wrote this book because I, like most thinking Americans, am dismayed by the coarseness and self-centeredness that has become the norm in our country, as well as the persistent attacks on people of different age groups, nationalities, and religions. This book addresses important but often overlooked sources of incivility and provides a framework with specific, immediately actionable solutions for making civility the prevailing behavior.
